Privacy Policy

When you sign up for Site Clinic, we collect your email address, the website URLs you ask us to monitor, and payment details processed by Stripe. When our scanners check your site, we store the results (accessibility violations, broken links, performance metrics, SEO signals) so you can see history over time.

We use your email to send scan alerts and billing receipts. We use your scan data to show you your dashboard and to improve the scanners themselves. We do not sell data to third parties.

We use Vercel (hosting), Railway PostgreSQL (database), Stripe (payments), and Google Analytics (aggregate traffic, only with your consent) to operate the service. Each handles data under their own privacy terms.

This website shows a consent banner before any analytics run. Until you choose Accept, we send nothing to Google Analytics, set no analytics cookies, and do not count your visit in our own page statistics. If you decline, the site works normally with no analytics.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets its cookies and records page views, including standard information Google Analytics collects such as device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and page titles. We also send a small set of actions: starting or finishing a free health scan, clicking through to pricing, and starting checkout. The events we send carry only the page path, simple campaign tags, and a few counts. They never include the website address you scan, your email address, or anything else you type into a form.

We remember your choice in your browser and in a small cookie that records only that choice, so we do not ask on every visit. You can change or withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the site’s main pages. Withdrawing stops analytics in every open tab for everything that follows and removes Google Analytics cookies from this browser.

When you run the free health scan, the website address you enter is sent to our scanner so it can check that site, and the results are shown to you. That address is not sent to analytics. The scanner only checks public websites and limits how many scans can run, to prevent misuse. Its operational logs record whether each scan succeeded, how long it took, and when a request was refused, without the address that was scanned.

Separately, we record visits from automated AI crawlers, identified by the names they publish, to understand how AI services read this site. That does not track people visiting the site.
